Rain break on the Loire

Rained through

Today, Sunday, there has been continuous rain, and tomorrow, Monday, it is expected to continue raining continuously.

Actually, that's a good thing, because yesterday was a bit too much and so the break is welcome.

I'm parked here in a parking lot right by the Loire. The rain is pattering on the roof of my camper, the heater is running, and I'm updating my blog, reading, and doing a little painting. This is how I'm passing the time for these two days of introspection and reflection. Yesterday, I restocked my food and water supplies, and also filled up on the super-expensive fuel, so I wouldn't be sitting in the cold because of the temperatures, which are around 8 degrees Celsius.

Meanwhile, a meeting of friends of the old Citroen 2CV is taking place in the rain in the parking lot.

This leads to thoughts like these:
What's happening in the world right now? So many different news stories are bombarding me, especially through the many different media outlets. What's the point of it all, and where is it leading? Is it just me who feels this way?.
How can I find my center again? Am I alone with these thoughts and the fears that arise from them?
For my part, I'm finding more and more people who are no longer satisfied with the current madness.

There is reason in the outside world, people who have made it their mission to bring positive things into our lives. People who clearly identify what is happening and have derived strategies for action from it.
One aspect that is beneficial for our well-being, and this also reflects my experience with Qigong, is that we can once again take the time to fully experience stories (information). Giving them our time, allowing them to unfold within us, consciously experiencing the beginning and the end, looking and listening. This requires patience and respect, and above all, tolerance and acceptance.
